j2_crack, where it is our ongoing mission to celebrate the fun-filled works that J2 inspire.
Sure we love some J2 angst, and there's lots of delicious communities who do that well, but you know what? We need laughter to balance it out. To that end, we (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
simplybeing and meus_venator) have decided to dedicate this corner of the internet to a community that will do just that. The only tears you will find here are tears of laughter!
On June 1st. we will be throwing open our doors and launching with an informalj2_crack mini-bang, featuring stories and art from many of our friends (who just so happen to be some of fandom’s favourites, luckily enough), and everyone is welcome to join in starting then. We want the crackiest, silliest, zaniest J2 creations you can dream up. (For inspiration, check out our tags once you're a member!) Bring us your fic, your vids, your squiggly drawings… as long as there’s at least one J in the mix, we're good (and of course, two is better than one, but hey, we don't want to be greedy). The most important thing, though? We want you to have FUN reading, looking and/or creating.
If you have the time, please help us spread the liquid sunshine that is Jared and Jensen crack by pimping our community. (After all, laughter is contagious! And never has the saying ‘The more, the merrier’ been more true!) If you only want to sit back and be entertained that's fine, but we need submissions to do that entertaining and we've got an armada of pimping banners for press-ganging others onto our crack-ship.
So June 1st, bright and early, we want to see you back here with your curiosity and your creations. (And remember to brush your teeth, because you're going to be smiling!) And then, after the first week, feel free to come back and post your older oddities, so we can have a great database of cracky goodness.
